WCMD

Hi everyone! Just sharing a quick card I made yesterday for World Card Making Day.  I did a few others but wanted to share this one here on the blog. I used a Simon Says Stamp set for the sentiments and the books. Then I also used the little Mama Elephant owl stamp.  The feather are an older Dear Lizzy Embellishment and the paper are from an older fall line from American Crafts. I hope you enjoy my little card share today. Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful & Serene

I have another layout share for you today. This photo comes from a recent hiking trip here in WA.  For the background i used this embossed cardstock I found at Michael's. They have lots of fun colors.  I love this green lately and it goes perfect with the colors in the photo.  I pulled the patterned papers from a couple different Studio Calico 4x6 paper pads and cut them down a bit.  I used the Ink Black Mister Huey's because it was still looking a little bare. This did the trick. Other product:  MAMBI and Dear Lizzy puffy stickers, Pebbles & SEI enamel stickers, Studio Calico Flair, Heidi Swapp wood work, AC Thickers, Pinkfresh puffy border. I also added some random twine on the wood word.  I hope you have enjoyed this little layout share. Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Boys

I have been slacking in the blogging department again. All this nice sunny weather is getting to me!  Here is a layout i had posted online the other day and wanted to share here as well. A new 8.5x11 layout of my furry kids.  On the kraft background I used a Tim Holtz heart stamp with Avery Elle white ink as well as some Hero Arts daubers. (Love those things!)  The papers are all from Studio Calico 4x6 paper pads.  Other goodies:  AC Thickers, SC veneers, Webster's Pages clip, some random flair, enamel dots, and washi tapes.  I do believe the cute puffy paw is from MAMBI.  That is about all for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Monday Layout Share

Today I am finally sharing a few layouts i created last week.  It's a mix of 12x12 and 8.5x11.  Hope you enjoy!

First up is an 8.5x11 of the kiddos at the zoo in Waikiki.  I used Jillibean Soup papers, some die cut clouds from my Cameo, 7 Paper, Crate Paper, and Pinkfresh puffies, the Heidi Swapp camera silk screen, and some Thickers.
+
This is an 8.5x11 of my sister when she was a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding last year.  I use some POW glitter paper from AC, and some Prima patterned papers i have been hoarding for awhile now. Some other goodies include Mister Huey's, Technique Tuesday stamp, Thickers, Crate Paper chipboard camera, 7 Paper and Pinkfresh puffies, and some Gossamer Blue die cut leaves.

For this 12x12 I used the We R Memory Keepers Hello Darling line mostly.  Also used some 7 Paper and MME gold letters. the washi is all Studio Calico.

I did this 12x12 for a challenge from a friend. I had to use felt (big navy background diagonal strip and the scallop border) Also had to use some type of past (Heidi Swapp glitter silk screen stuff) and honestly i forget what else. LOL! Anyway...more Cameo die cuts clouds and an Amy Tangerine one.  I think the star stencil was from Memory Box.  Also used some AE chipboard, and some Studio Calico papers. The cute little navy thickers are from the new Crate Paper Poolside line...to die for!

That is all folks!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Now on to my layout. The theme of our hop, by the way, is "but....it's so pretty". That's right. We all have that special item or collection we are just hoarding because we don't want to use it up.  For me it is the Pink Paislee Bella Rouge line. I so do not want to run out of this pretty collection! I pulled these items out to use.

I figured out my patterned paper placement and decided that i wanted to try some ink drops with India ink.  I love how they turned out! I used one of the Mister Huey's droppers to apply the ink droplets.

I used a Pinkfresh pocket to add some of the pretty die cuts from the collection here.

Here is a look at my final page.  LOTS of pink! I kept if fairly simple but i really like how it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed this layout share. Be sure to check out the YouTube videos! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Project Life

So yesterday i decided i wanted to dabble in Project Life again. Not really in the traditional way of week by week but by month. So i printed all my pics for January..well some of the important ones...and got to work.  This is my third attempt at PL so i hope this one is successfull!  For my first spread to start out the album i use a lot of cards and embellishments from the beautiful new Simple Stories I Am collection.  I may need to stock up on more of this line I love it so much.  The pretty colors mixed with the gold foil just get me every time.

I did one more for January to finish up. I used the PL Playful edition. This one is so cute with all the whimsical animals and PURPLE!  Can you tell I am excited about PURPLE?

So here I go on to February. Wish me luck and motivation!  I am determined to see the whole year through! Thanks for stopping by.
